Are you between the ages of 10–19 and ready to grow, lead, and make a positive impact in your community?

Let’s Talk Offline (LTO) Teen Empowerment Workshops is a youth-centered program designed to help teens build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and develop the tools needed to make healthy life decisions.

Through engaging workshops and supportive mentorship, we help young people gain skills, build friendships, and prepare for successful futures.

About Family Development Enterprise, Inc.

Family Development Enterprise, Inc. (FDE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome barriers to healthy living, personal development, and long-term success.

We serve communities in Louisiana (including Ouachita and Morehouse Parishes) and Arkansas (Ashley County) through educational and empowerment-based programs that support youth and families.

Our goal is to equip residents with practical life skills, positive communication strategies, and personal development tools that strengthen individuals and communities.

What We Do

Through the Let’s Talk Offline (LTO) Empowerment Workshops, we provide teens with structured, relevant, and age-appropriate learning experiences focused on:

  • Communication and relationship skills
  • Self-awareness and personal identity
  • Goal setting and future planning
  • Healthy decision-making and risk prevention
  • Emotional wellness and self-esteem development
  • Financial literacy and life preparedness
  • Health education (including pregnancy prevention, STIs, and HIV awareness)
  • Leadership development and rites of passage for young men and women
  • Parenting support for teen mothers
  • Reading and reflection through monthly book discussions

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide residents in our target service areas of Louisiana and Arkansas with educational workshops, health and wellness resources, and employment readiness opportunities that encourage positive lifestyle choices and long-term economic stability.
